DESCRIPTION
The folding door is manufactured by coupling vertical leaf panels with a thickness of 52 mm. The panels consist of a load-bearing internal perimeter frame made of galvanized steel, covered with two opposite flat galvanized steel sheets, side-profiled with a dovetail shape designed to house the PVC coupling profile.
Thermal insulation is achieved by injected polyurethane foam. The internal load-bearing galvanized steel frame stiffens the panel and ensures safe and secure fixing of the hinges. The upper and lower edges of the panels are closed with black anodized aluminum profiles.
Floor and top sealing is achieved by brushes fixed to the aluminum profiles. The lateral edges of the panels are equipped with double-lip tubular EPDM rubber gaskets, ensuring a safety clearance of 50 mm between leaf and leaf, and between leaf and jamb.
It is possible to choose the panel type of the folding door among the following finishes:
- Smooth
- Stucco embossed*
- Smooth wood-effect
*(orange peel effect)
The folding door can be supplied in the following versions:
- Suspended with floor guide
- Suspended without floor guide
- Guided with floor wheels
The perimeter frame is made of extruded aluminum profiles, consisting of side jambs and a top cross member, suitably grooved to allow adjustable fixing of hinges, wall fixing brackets and side seals. The top cross member is connected to the jambs by special brackets and fixed to the lintel by adjustable brackets designed to also support the sliding track. This system guarantees complete adjustment of vertical alignment and parallelism.
The double upper sliding track is made of galvanized steel with a thickness of 2 mm. Special support clamps combined with brackets allow correct positioning of the track in any installation condition. Galvanized steel mechanical end stops regulate the trolley travel during the opening phase of the leaves.
The folding door can be installed within the opening or overlapping the opening, both in width and height. Installation is possible on both the internal and external side of the building. The leaves fold at 90°, with the option of 180° folding upon request.

- Circular or rectangular laminated glass vision panels 5+5 with rounded corners and EPDM rubber gaskets.
- Ventilation grilles in pre-painted aluminum.
