DESCRIPTION
The folding shutter is made of a TUB.120 tubular curtain in galvanized steel, sliding inside dedicated lateral guide rails.
The shutter is equipped with special black polyester lifting straps and stacks upwards in a compact bundle, fully clearing the passage opening.

The fundamental dimensions governing the selection, construction and installation of the frame are the clear passage width (LFM), the clear passage height (HFM), and the lintel height (h).
In folding doors, in the longitudinal direction (LFM), the sliding guides represent the only lateral encumbrance, regardless of the overall door dimensions.

CURTAIN AND TENSION ELEMENTS
The curtain consists of Ø 18 mm galvanized steel tubes hinged together by special galvanized steel connecting links with a 120 mm pitch.
The curtain is crossed by black polyester lifting straps with a width of 48 mm.
The lifting straps are positioned on the curtain in such a way as to ensure both an aesthetically pleasing appearance (symmetrical layout) and adequate load distribution, guaranteeing high safety margins for the load applied to each strap.

FOLDING SYSTEM AND INSTALLATION SPACE REQUIREMENTS
The specific profile of the lateral sliding guides, combined with the use of lifting straps, allows the TUB.120 curtain to arrange itself in a slightly zig-zag configuration.
The special floor profile is guided by nylon bushings. The lifting straps are anchored to the tubular curtain and, driven by the motorized unit, allow the TUB.120 curtain to stack into a compact bundle during the opening phase or to fully extend during the closing phase.

MOTORIZATION
The standard motorization unit is a direct-drive type with an integrated safety brake, three-phase 380 V – 50 Hz.
Manual emergency operation (by crank handle or chain) is available in the event of a power failure.
The gear motor is equipped with its own independent limit switch system and is virtually maintenance-free.
The motorization unit is supplied complete with a low-voltage (24 V) control panel and is designed for various operating modes:
- Hold-to-run operation
- Semi-automatic operation
- Automatic operation
