DESCRIPTION
The transparent ABS rolling shutter is a solution designed for residential properties and retail premises that require transparency without compromising on security.
The curtain is made of transparent ABS modules hinged together by aluminium tubes with a diameter of 10 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm. Upon request, a 5 mm diameter stainless steel rod can be inserted inside the aluminium tube to ensure enhanced cut-resistance and security. The ABS modules have a width of 150 mm, a centre distance of 100 mm, and a thickness of 4 mm.
At both ends, special plastic end caps are fitted inside the aluminium tubes to prevent lateral movement of the modules and to facilitate smooth sliding inside the side guides.
The bottom terminal element is made of an aluminium tubular profile measuring 120 × 60 mm, connected to the transparent ABS curtain by means of special hooks, and is equipped with a sliding shoe made of wear-resistant material for smooth guide operation.
The side guides are made of aluminium profiles and are fitted with special seals to ensure excellent wear resistance and very quiet operation during opening and closing.
The winding shaft and motorisation vary depending on the size of the rolling shutter to be manufactured. The transparent ABS rolling shutter can be operated manually or motorised, with either “dead-man” (hold-to-run) control or automatic control.
